Staff Software Engineer - HRIS
About The Role
The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) team is responsible for building products for employee lifecycle management, employee experience management, compliance management, and talent management. Each product as a stand-alone is part of a multi-billion dollar market and as a senior member of the team, you will get to take ownership of building them.
Your day-to-day work will require you to work with product managers, product designers, UX researchers, and engineers from multiple teams. You will get to solve the hard engineering problems of scaling our product, reducing latency, ensuring security, and also play the critical role of mentoring developers, shaping up the team culture, influencing engineering processes, and the direction of the products.
What You'll Do:
Develop high quality software with attention to detail
Work on complex engineering problems.
Have clear ownership over your projects.
Work directly with partner teams and end-users to help Rippling continually differentiate itself via better products and technology
Strong CS fundamentals
7+ years of professional work experience
Experience building a large-scale cloud-based application
You care about product ownership and solving problems for our customers.
