Recipe Overview

The number of Github pull requests merged by a new recruit is a good barometer of how quickly they’re getting up to speed.

But managers and department leads often don't have a good objective benchmark for how their new recruit is performing compared to other new recruits in the company.

With this Recipe, you’ll be able to pull data from GitHub to calculate the average number of PRs raised by an engineer within their first few months. This can then be used as a quantitative benchmark to help managers evaluate each new engineering recruit's progress compared to their peers' historical performance.

Want to add other employee details such as employee level or tenure? As with all of our report Recipes, you can customise this template with additional data, filters, grouping and more to help you answer your specific questions.
