Today, I’m thrilled to share all of the exciting new features we’ve built for Rippling Recruiting this year. Having an applicant tracking system (ATS) in the same platform as HR should be a dream: after all, once candidates are hired, they become employees, and once employees leave your company, they become candidates again. Shouldn’t one system encompass the entire lifecycle? Talent leaders are under pressure to consolidate their tech stack, and using an all-in-one system would result in streamlined workflows between recruiting and HR teams in addition to cost savings. So why doesn’t it work? 

The problem is that these legacy HR systems only offer “check-the-box” applicant tracking systems to meet buyers’ surface-level requirements. This barebones functionality isn't nearly as powerful as specialized recruiting solutions.

Before I joined Rippling to lead the development of our talent products, I spent most of the last decade building purpose-built solutions for world-class recruiting teams, from Fortune 500 companies to today’s fastest-growing tech companies. However, I’d still hear over and over from customers how much they wished for  the all-in-one dream. Give more thorough feedback, faster by using AI to automatically record and transcribe interviews. Easily identify takeaways from interviews with interview summaries based on transcripts and leverage data-driven insights from recordings to train and coach interviewers, keeping your hiring bar consistent and high. 

Make better hiring decisions with candidate feedback summaries

Synthesize each interviewer’s feedback form using AI to create a digestible summary of a candidate’s strengths and areas of improvement. This gives hiring teams a helpful snapshot of a candidate’s performance, making it easier to align on a decision quickly, reducing time-to-hire,and expediting the time it takes to extend an offer. 

Save time and improve the candidate experience with smart scheduling 

Quickly identify the best times to schedule interviews by analyzing all of your interviewers’ calendars to generate a range of options. Candidates can then choose their ideal option, streamlining and simplifying the whole interview process. For simple 1:1 interviews, candidates can also schedule their own interviews from available slots. Rippling even books meeting rooms and automatically adds a video conference link if applicable. 

Post jobs faster without the manual work

Leverage AI to instantly create job descriptions based on inputs like job title, employment type, and years of experience. Automatically remove potentially biased or exclusionary language to help you maintain compliance and fairness. Once the job description is ready, you can then post it in seconds to your external or internal job boards. 

Screen candidates at scale with AI Video Screens [Coming soon]

Save hours of recruiter time by adding asynchronous video screens to your hiring process. Create custom questionnaire templates with configurable response times, then invite candidates to record their answers at their convenience without the burden of scheduling. Reviewers can watch candidate responses in batches (even at 2x speed!) and leave feedback directly, helping you identify top talent faster while giving candidates a flexible experience. AI-generated transcripts and summaries make it easy to quickly assess responses.

Protect your pipeline with applicant fraud detection [Coming soon]

Automatically identify suspicious applications before they waste your team's time. Rippling analyzes each application in real-time, checking for signals like VPN usage, disposable email addresses, location mismatches, and newly-created contact information. Each applicant receives a fraud risk score, giving recruiters a heads-up when something doesn't add up so you can focus on legitimate candidates and keep your pipeline clean.

  • Agency Portal: Collaborate confidently with external recruiters with job-specific permissions to protect your data, streamlined submissions directly into your ATS, and automated sourcing attribution to clearly track which agencies deliver results. 

  • Job templates: Define role details like location or title once with job templates, and automatically apply that information during the hiring process. This saves time, reduces errors, and ensures consistency across all your hiring

  • Onboarding tracker: The onboarding tracker gives you a single, consolidated view of every new hire’s progress, from at-a-glance summaries for your whole team to detailed, step-by-step logs for any individual.
