        What is a taxable wage base limit?

        A taxable wage-base limit, also known as a taxable wage limit, is the maximum gross income that's subject to a given tax within a given year. Once an employee's gross wages meet or exceed the taxable wage base limit that year, the tax is no longer collected. Common taxes that follow taxable wage base limits include Federal Unemployment Insurance (FUTA), State Unemployment Insurance (SUI), and Social Security.

            Does Rippling submit new hire reporting?

            Yes, Rippling submits your new hire reporting with the state for all employees and contractors hired in Rippling. Rippling does not offer company & employee-specific new hire reporting forms because we file this reporting electronically, in bulk, twice a month. The bulk files are sent on the 1st and 15th of the month to ensure new hires are reported within 20 days of their start date.
